3D: Future of panorama ?

Sorry, but this post is not available in English

SkiVR, in partnership with Kolor, have decided to concretize the Merlin/Papywizard project by commercializing a complete package including all necessary elements.

We are still looking for a name for this new « package » and it appears as something natural to launch an appeal to the community to help us in this choice.

As a consequence, we are launching a contest today! For the one who will find the name, we will give away a free complete package! (Details of the rules are in the form).

Take part to the contest and submit your ideas by clicking here.

The package will include:

- The Merlin head
- A tripod (as an option)
- A double-battery adapter to replace original non rechargeable batteries
- 2 batteries
- A charger + a car adapter
- A standard bracket
- An L bracket
- A trigger cable to be chosen depending on your DSLR camera (all main Canon, Nikon and Panasonic DSLR are supported, + other DSLRs)

You will also have the choice between:

- A Bluetooth interface (driven by Papywizard ; computer or compatible smartphone needed)
- A Bluetooth interface + a German-made touch control panel (no other hardware needed on the field)

The main advantages of this package:

- Everything you need is included in the package
- The Merlin head was first created for astronomy, it is super robust
- Ability to prepare shooting templates with Papywizard software on your computer
- This is a versatile, open-source project
- The double-battery that we chose can operate up to 11 hours
- The log file is compatible with Autopano Pro and Autopano Giga software
- We are preparing a detailed manual, video tutorials and support resources
- The Merlin community is already huge and members can share their experiences on the forum,

We will be able to ship worldwide.

Thank you for your trust and your support, and for your participation in contest,

Nodal Ninja news and Kolor
